Advertisement
When you place an advertisement:
| * | We will design you an advertisement page that includes up to 4 photographs, your contact details, trails nearby and events that you are organising. View an example advertisement. |
| * | Your business will be advertised on three trails (see note 1 below). View an example trail advertisement. |
| * | Your business will be listed on the summary page of all trails that start within 20 miles of your business premises. View an example listing. |
| * | Your business will be included in the Featured section of your chosen business category (see note 2 below). View an example. |
| * | Your business will be highlighted on the interactive map of all trails designed by readers using Trail Designer when the trail start point is 20 miles or less from your business premises. |
| * | You can promote your business events using our events database. |
| * | You can publicise your business promotions using our Promotions page. |
| * | You can request viewing statistics (see note 3 below). |

Notes
- A business photograph, brief description and link to your advertisement page or website will be displayed in a prominent position on the trail page and, where we have produced it, in the trail PDF document that readers can print and take with them on the trail.
The location of your business will be highlighted on the trail interactive O/S and Google maps and on the trail map when viewed using Mobile Viewer.
Please note that a maximum of six businesses can be advertised on each trail.
- In the Featured section of each category businesses are randomly selected for display. A new set of businesses is displayed each time the page is loaded.
- We record the number of times advertisements and trails are viewed. If you would like to receive the statistics for your advertisement or any of the trails then please ask.
- An advertisement is placed for 12 months.
- All prices are exclusive of VAT.
- We normally prepare the advertisement using information and images from your web site. If you do not have a web site or would like to provide the content yourself then please let us know.
- An invoice will be raised once you have reviewed and accepted the advertisement. The advertisement will be published once payment has been received.
- A business can be listed under the category Things to Do for FREE. In return we ask that you provide a link from your web site to ours - it improves our search engine ratings.
